Committee endorses FDI review mechanism

Ljubljana, 8 June - The parliamentary Economy Committee endorsed on Thursday changes to the Investment Promotion Act which enable the government to screen potentially risky foreign direct investments (FDI). The MPs agree FDI should be encouraged, but the country must also protect its national interests.
