Inspection service suspends tree-cutting campaign in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 13 June - The Natural Resources and Spatial Planning Inspectorate has suspended a tree-cutting campaign in Ljubljana's largest Tivoli Park and at the Rožnik and Šišenski Hrib hills which had upset locals and NGOs. The inspectors found the Ljubljana municipality did not obtain an opinion of the Institute for Nature Conservation, Dnevnik reports.
