Deadlock possibly broken in clash with farmers with laxer Natura 2000 rules

Ljubljana, 13 June - The ongoing clash between farmers and the government, marked by two major rallies against environmental and other regulations that farmers claim are severely hampering their practices, may be approaching a resolution. An agreement making certain Natura 2000 restrictions non-mandatory was reportedly reached in the latest round of talks last week.
