Slovenia joins group of countries urging simple EU fiscal rules

Brussels, 15 June - Slovenia has joined a group of eleven EU countries in calling for a reform of EU fiscal rules to have a set of simple, transparent and binding rules that can be implemented in all member states where it is easy to check their compliance. They should combine concern for sustainable finances while leaving enough room to address the EU's challenges.
