Slovenia to get additional seat in EU Parliament
Strasbourg, 15 June - The European Parliament approved on Thursday a proposal to distribute 11 additional seats among nine countries in the next legislative period after the 2024 elections, including Slovenia, which would win one additional seat for a total of nine MEPs. The new distribution must now be okayed by the European Council.
