Statehood Day celebration again embroiled in controversy

Ljubljana, 23 June - Slovenia will celebrate Statehood Day on Sunday, marking 32 years since the country declared independence from the former Yugoslavia. In recent years state ceremonies have often been marked by political disputes and this year it is no different.
