Demokracija says independence can't be taken for granted

Ljubljana, 22 June - Slovenians should be proud of having their own state, the weekly Demokracija says ahead of Statehood Day in Thursday's commentary headlined We Should Be Proud of Having Realised Centuries-Old Slovenian Dream. It notes that not all nations, for instance Kurds or Catalans, have managed to secure independence.
