Govt creates legal basis for collecting data on prices in food chain

Ljubljana, 22 June - The government adopted on Thursday changes to the Agriculture Act, creating a legal basis for the collection of data on the price, quantity and origin in the food supply chain, Agriculture Minister Irena Šinko told the press. She suggested this was necessary to ensure food security in the face of Covid aftermath and the Ukraine war.
