PM says cost of second nuclear unit in Krško EUR 7,000 per kW

Ljubljana, 26 June - Prime Minister Robert Golob told the MPs on Monday that the total cost of building a second unit at the Krško Nuclear Power Plant (NEK) was currently estimated at around EUR 7,000 per kilowatt. For a 1,600-megawatt unit, the largest one of the several options considered by the investor, this would mean EUR 11 billion.
