Changed Public Finances Act gives certain institutions greater autonomy

Ljubljana, 28 June - The National Assembly unanimously endorsed on Wednesday a government-sponsored amendment to the Public Finances Act under which certain key parts of government will be able to effectively determine the size of their own budgets. The bill implements a December 2020 decision by the Constitutional Court.
