Slovenia to celebrate 2024 as General Rudolf Maister year

Ljubljana, 28 June - As the 150th anniversary of birth and the 90th anniversary of death of Rudolf Maister (1874-1934) will be marked next year, the government has decided that 2024 will be dedicated to the general who established the first Slovenian army in modern history and made key territorial gains in 1918.
