General govt deficit in Q1 up y/y to EUR 544m or 3.6% of GDP

Ljubljana, 30 June - The general government deficit amounted to EUR 544 million in the first quarter of 2023, or 3.6% of Slovenia's GDP, up by 0.5 percentage points year-on-year, the Statistics Office said on Friday. At the end of March, the general government debt stood at EUR 42.19 billion, or 69.5% of GDP.
