Bids in Sports Lottery sale withdrawn

Ljubljana, 30 June - Both bids for a majority share of the Sports Lottery have been withdrawn, the Finance Ministry said on Friday, thereby suspending the process of granting consents for the acquisition of a stake in the country's only sports betting operator. One of the stakeholders said the suspension was only due to one of the bidders wishing to supplement its bid.
