African swine fever measures introduced as disease nears Slovenia
Ljubljana, 17 July - The authorities have declared the area along the south-eastern border with Croatia a high-risk area for African swine fever (ASF) as the disease is approaching Slovenia. The measures ordered include active search for dead wild boars and increased sampling and examinations for the disease in both domestic pigs and wild boars.
