New Slovenian premier football league season opens

Ljubljana, 22 July - The new season Slovenian premier football league gets under way this weekend. The defending champions Olimpija Ljubljana, which clinched both the league and cup title in 2022/23, will try to dominate again despite having a new head-coach. Having much to prove after a less than stellar season are 16-time national champions Maribor.
