Additional 100,000 m3 of timber damaged in yesterday's storms

Ljubljana, 20 July - Wednesday's storms, which mostly affected the northern and northeastern parts of Slovenia, caused additional damage in forests after they had already been ravaged by storms earlier this week and last week. Initial estimates show that some 100,000 cubic meters of timber were knocked down or damaged yesterday alone.
