Number of tourists up 6% in first half of 2023

Ljubljana, 25 July - A total of 2.47 million tourists were recorded in Slovenia in the first half of the year, which is 6% more than in the same period last year. Overnight stays amounted to nearly 6.26 million, up 3.9% year-on-year. While the numbers for domestic tourists dropped significantly, a sharp increase was recorded in foreign tourists.
