Officials unveil changes to storm relief scheme

Ljubljana, 3 August - Representatives of municipalities and relevant ministries presented on Thursday proposed changes to the Natural Disaster Recovery Act, which aim to speed up financial assistance. The new scheme would apply to all disasters recorded since 1 January this year and would mean an upfront payment of up to 20% of all estimated damage to municipalities.
