Harmless planktonic snails aplenty in Slovenian sea this year

Piran, 4 August - A massive number of straight needle-pteropods can be currently found in the Slovenian part of the Adriatic Sea, which can cause itching with the sharp tips of their shells. Local marine life experts nevertheless note that their tiny stings are by no means dangerous.
