Top court limits authorities' access to communication and financial data

Ljubljana, 9 August - The Constitutional Court has annulled parts of the criminal procedure act to make it harder for authorities to acquire certain communication and financial data as part of investigations. The court, whose ruling becomes effective in a year, said current provisions disproportionally interfere in communication and information privacy rights.
