Govt supplies almost 4,000 pairs of boots from commodity reserves
Ljubljana, 9 August - After people engaged in clean-up efforts following devastating floods said they need more boots to work in the mud, the government supplied 3,916 pairs of boots from the commodity reserves.

The proposal for releasing these supplies from the reserves came from the Civil Protection and Disaster Relief Administration, the Economy Ministry said on Wednesday.
The government activated Article 9 of the Commodity Reserves Act, which says that the commodity reserves can be used in cases of emergencies, natural disasters or war.
