RTV Slovenija raises EUR 1.2m in total for flood victims
Ljubljana, 13 August - Public broadcaster RTV Slovenija raised a total of EUR 1.2 million for people affected by recent floods. Following the initial EUR 750,000 raised on Thursday, the broadcaster said it had raised an additional EUR 500,000 in Saturday's rerun of a telethon event.

The two-hour fundraising show Together for Slovenia featured flood victims' stories and reports about authorities' and volunteers' clean-up efforts, showing the magnitude of last weekend's floods as well as the power of solidarity.
The Red Cross Slovenia and Caritas Slovenia will be in charge of getting the money to where it is most needed.
