Reconstruction in Koroška
"Water and gas supply the biggest problems": Across Koroška there are still problems with natural gas supply due to ruptured pipelines. Prevalje, meanwhile, will have to wait several months for water because the construction of six kilometres of new pipeline will last three months. (front page, 3)

Aid for flooded areas
"Applications for aid due by 28 August": Those affected by floods have until 28 August to ask for aid from three humanitarian organisations that received EUR 11 million from the government in immediate flood relief funds. (front page)

Athletics
"Čeh defending title on the beautiful blue Danube": Discus thrower Kristjan Čeh will be defending his world championship title at the athletics worlds in Budapest today. (front page, 9)
