Floods prompt govt to propose public sector pay changes be delayed for a year
Ljubljana, 21 August - Public Administration Minister Sanja Ajanović Hovnik has proposed to the public sector trade unions that pay disparities be eliminated and a new public sector pay system introduced on 1 January 2025, which is a year later than initially planned. The reason for the proposed delay is post-flood reconstruction efforts.
