Dnevnik says Ukraine war likely to take very long time

Ljubljana, 22 August - Commenting on what seems a less-than-successful counteroffensive by Ukraine, the newspaper Dnevnik says on Tuesday that the war in Ukraine is likely to take a long time. The counteroffensive is not going according to Ukraine's and allies' wishes, also because they had lost the element of surprise, while Russia reinforced its positions.
