Major water pollution incident detected in Ljubljana Marshes

Ljubljana, 22 August - Researchers have detected by chance a major water pollution incident in the Ljubljana Marshes landscape park, which could have been caused by sludge from waste water treatment plants. The discovery has been reported to the park authorities, relevant inspectorate and police. Locals meanwhile say that this could be a natural phenomenon.
