Illegal migrations continue to rise markedly

Ljubljana, 23 August - The number of recorded illegal entries into Slovenia in the January to July period increased significantly in 2023 compared to 2022, from 10,103 to 26,871, show data released by the police. The figures show a surge in Moroccan and Russian migrants and a marked drop in the number of migrants returned to Croatia.
