Stocks continue to slide

Ljubljana, 23 August - The SBI TOP benchmark on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange shed 2% on Wednesday to close at 1.132.40 points, the lowest level since January, as blue chips posted heavy losses for the seventh straight day. Financial stocks were hit particularly hard amidst uncertainty about the damage they suffered in the floods. Volumes exceeded EUR 2 million.
