Slovenia's annual inflation slightly up to 6.2% in August from July

Ljubljana, 31 August - Slovenia's annual inflation reached 6.2% in August, a rise of 0.1 of a percentage point from July and a drop of 4.8 points from August last year, the Statistics Office said on Thursday. Annual inflation continued being fuelled by higher prices of food and beverages, which rose by 10.4% in a year, contributing 1.8 points to inflation.
