Delo says solidarity contribution is a populist move

Ljubljana, 5 September - Commenting on the government's post-flood solidarity and social justice measures, such as the new solidarity contribution and the working Saturday, the newspaper Delo says on Tuesday these are populist, ill-considered moves. The state could raise funds for reconstruction at a lower cost and with less damage to taxpayers, it argues.
