Steel group SIJ revenue, profit down in H1 y/y

Ljubljana, 6 September - The steel producing group SIJ generated EUR 601.5 million in sales revenue in the first half of 2023, a drop of 17.6% over the same period last year. Net profit also dropped, by 72.9% to EUR 14.2 million. The group said that the figures were hard to compare to last year's when the burden of high energy cost was carried by their buyers.
