Plaque marks Ljubljana visit by Admiral Lord Nelson
Ljubljana, 7 September - British Admiral Horatio Nelson, best known as the man whose fleet defeated the combined fleets of the French and Spanish navies at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805, stopped in Ljubljana in August 1800. His stay in the city will henceforth be remembered with a plaque at Hotel Slon, where he spent the night.
