Tax burden on Slovenian middle class among the highest in the EU

Munich, 10 September - Slovenia is among the EU countries with the highest tax burden on the middle class, according to a survey by the Munich-based Ifo Institute. Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Finland, Lithuania and the Netherlands are also in this group, while Spain, Greece, Estonia, Portugal, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania have the lowest tax burden.
