Silt major problem in flooded regions as riverbed clean-up continues

Ravne na Koroškem, 9 September - Silt deposited by torrential waters and material dug out during riverbed cleaning are proving to be a major problem in areas in Koroška that experienced the worst floods in early August. The material, some of which is hazardous, is now piling up and experts are yet to say where it will be disposed of.
