The audiobook France Prešeren: Poesien is being released to also celebrate the 60th anniversary of Radio Slovenija's cultural programme ARS and to coincide with an exhibition dedicated to Prešeren and his work in the German Romanticism Museum in Frankfurt.

The exhibition will open on 14 September, in the run-up to the Frankfurt Book Fair, the publishing arm ZKP RTV Slovenija said, adding that the release was the result of cooperation with ARS.

The visitors of the exhibition will be able to use a QR code to listen to four poems by Prešeren, as interpreted in the audiobook, and on top of that, France Prešeren: Poesien will be released on international audiobook sites.

A project co-financed by the Culture Ministry, the audiobook will be also promoted at the Frankfurt Book Fair, running from 18 to 22 October.

It features a new translation of the selected poems, which was done by Boštjan Dvorak.

Remond, who narrated the poems, is known for his participation in international productions, including in projects with ZKP RTV Slovenija.
