Slovenia to hold presidency of Barcelona Convention

Istanbul/Ljubljana, 12 September - Late this year Slovenia will host the 23th meeting of parties to the Barcelona Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment and the Coastal Region of the Mediterranean. At the session the country will take over the rotating two-year presidency, during which it will aim to step up responsible management of marine resources.
