Post-flood tests show high pollution levels in Koroška river basins

Ljubljana, 14 September - Extensive testing with samples taken from river basins that suffered the most damage during the August floods has shown the Meža river basin in Koroška in the north to be the most problematic area in terms of pollution, with critical levels of lead, cadmium, and zinc reached or significantly exceeded in both sediment and original soil.
