Eva Terčelj wins bronze in kayak cross at world championships
London, 24 September - Slovenian Eva Terčelj won bronze in the women's kayak cross event at the ICF Canoe Slalom Championships at the Lee Valley White Water Centre near London on Sunday, in what is the third medal for Slovenia at this competition. The Slovenian women's team won bronze in the C1 race and Benjamin Savšek gold in the men's C1 event earlier this week.

Also earlier this week, Terčelj missed Saturday's semi-finals in slalom by one position, but made up for the disapponting performance with today's medal in kayak cross.
Terčelj won the K1 world champion title in 2019, and her latest medal is the 31st at canoe slalom championships for Slovenia to date.
She placed behind British athlete Kimberley Woods and French Camille Prigent.
