Trade unions divided on public sector wage reform proposal

Ljubljana, 25 September - A week after the government unveiled the EUR 847 million proposal for public sector wage reform, it has now started negotiations with sector-specific trade unions. Unions in education are strongly opposed to the proposal, saying it favours doctors, while the healthcare unions are mostly unhappy with proposed leave reductions.
