Repair works in Velenje coal mine completed

Velenje, 1 October - The Velenje coal mine, the only active coal mine in the country, has finished repair works in the mine after a stope collapsed there in July 2022. The mine adapted its production plan for 2023, increasing it by 230,000 tonnes to 2.49 million tonnes of coal, mine operator Premogovnik Velenje told the STA.
