Northern bald ibis spotted near Lake Cerknica

Cerknica, 6 October - A northern bald ibis, a large migratory bird long considered extinct, was spotted near Lake Cerknica, the Notranjska Regional Park said. The bird is bred in Austria as part of a repopulation project and equipped with a GPS tracker.
