Slovenian sea with record temperatures for October

Piran, 6 October - Temperature measured at the bottom of the Gulf of Trieste in the first week of October surpassed 23 degrees Celsius, which is the highest temperature measured at the start of October since the Piran Marine Biology Station started measuring in 2009. The phenomenon known as bottom marine heatwave was already detected in September, the station said.
