Delo says Slovenia should recognise Palestine during UN stint
Ljubljana, 12 October - The story about Slovenia's failure to recognise Palestine goes way back. Tanja Fajon, who now serves as foreign minister, strongly advocated this as a path to peace in the Middle East years ago as an MEP. If Slovenia recognised Palestine during its stint in the UN Security Council, this would be its biggest contribution to peace, Delo says.
