Over 800 take part in campaign encouraging cycling to work

Ljubljana, 12 October - A total of 825 workers from 75 municipalities joined Slovenia's six-week campaign promoting cycling to work between 28 August and 6 October, clocking in 116,150 km, which is nearly as much as circling the Earth three times. Had they gone to work by car, they would have generated 18 tonnes of CO2, as much as 365 adult trees absorb in a year.
