Slovenian farmers urge extension of glyphosate use in EU
Ljubljana, 12 October - Several Slovenian organisations of farmers urged extending the use of the herbicide glyphosate for another ten years a day before EU members meet to decide on the extension. The organisations say that glyphosate is relatively safe while there is no viable alternative to it, and banning it would make Slovenian farmers less competitive.
