New cycling route opens, connecting western Slovenia and Italy
Brda, 16 October - The hilly, wine-growing region of Goriška Brda, north-west of Nova Gorica, is now connected with the border town through Italy with a 20-kilometre cycling route, which will be particularly important as Nova Gorica and Italy's Gorizia assume the title of the European Capital of Culture in 2025.
