Top-up insurance deficit to be covered from budget, PM says

Ljubljana, 16 October - The deficit in the healthcare budget, which is expected to be created when top-up health insurance changes into a mandatory contribution in 2024 will be covered directly from the state budget, said Prime Minister Robert Golob. The public health insurer ZZZS estimates the deficit will be EUR 140 million.
