Golob announces potential rise in excise duties on tobacco, sugary drinks, spirits

Ljubljana, 16 October - Answering an MP question about social transfers not being adjusted to inflation next year, Prime Minister Robert Golob said on Monday the government could collect additional funds through excise duties on tobacco products, sugary drinks and spirits. He said that each ministry had the autonomy to decide where savings are possible.
