Opposition MP urges speaker to resign over alleged influence on police

Ljubljana, 20 October - Žan Mahnič, an MP of the opposition Democrats (SDS), has called on National Assembly President Urška Klakočar Zupančič to resign over a court decision finding that he did not insult her with a social media post, which in turn Mahnič says prompted her to exert influence on the police to fine him.
