Govt adopts waters management programme to boost environmental protection

Ljubljana, 24 October - The government has adopted a waters management programme encompassing a set of fundamental and supplementary measures aimed at achieving environmental water goals. Slovenia has more than 60 rivers and streams, 300 artificial and natural lakes, and 7,500 freshwater springs.
